Sam strolled down the beach. It was hours before the wedding would start. He was a little nervous, but mostly excited. It would go on in three parts. First, they would arrive and eat food. Then they would go through the nervewracking official wedding. Afterwards it would be a wild party, featuring tons of food and a massive bonfire.
But for now, all they had was a big stack of wood for the bonfire, about forty random chairs from throughout various Lapush homes, and a really huge cake. The cake was beautiful, and probably tasted amazing. It was the product of many different women in the town all meeting up and spending a whole day baking it. As Sam had specifically directed, it was chocolate. Mmmmmmm. He could barely wait.
Idly, he hauled another large tree-trunk that had fallen off in the woods to the wedding area. With an easy thrust of his arms, he tossed the log like it was a mere stick. Being a werewolf did have some good parts. A few cars were parking above. Maybe he could get some more help with this big bonfire. They were going to roast some marshmellows and probably toss a few beers in there, too. They would always explode, which was great family fun. Then the man's footsteps stopped. The nervousness was creeping back into his mind. Family fun...
Would his children be werewolves? Would his children be told? Would he even have children?
He sighed and shook his head. Life had taught him one very important lesson - never look too far ahead or you will smack into something right in front of you. A good thing to know, especially if you are a jogger. A few more cars pulled up. This was really happening. The excitement was inside of him like a live wire. Nothing, nothing at all, could ever ruin this day for him.

Kim was walking along the first beach while thinking of Jared. She hadn't seen him and she was starting to get worried a little. Kim had been on vacation with her family for two days. It wasn't something drastic or anything. She just wished she could bring Jared with her. Kim made it in time for Emily and Sam's wedding. She was rather glad she had and she was curious to see how the wedding arrangement was going. Kim was excited for Emily and Sam, Kim absolutely loved weddings personally. She hoped Jared would ask her one day to marry him. She always wanted her a dream wedding, what girl wouldn't? Slowly she made her way and she smiled at all the wedding arrangement was. Beautiful was the word to describe it. Kim jumped when she heard a huge thump noise and she turned and saw Sam. Kim smiled wondering why he was here and not getting ready. Then again, he could ask the same thing with Kim. She of course was a fast worker and she knew she could finish her hair and such, under one hour. She didn't need much time to get herself ready for a wedding, though, she was happy to place on her makeup and such. Slowly she made her way towards Sam with a smile. "Hey Sam!" she called out while walking towards him. "This is a beautiful arrangement you have here." she said smiling softly at him. It truly was an amazing arrangement for the wedding at that. She stopped when she reached him and she placed her hands in her front pocket of her jeans. She missed Jared more than anything and she hoped she could see him at the wedding or before.

--lets skip it so that it is about 30 minutes before the wedding starts. I want to sort of get this over with, k? -- Sam smiled softly when a younger girl walked up. He ran through his mind, trying to summon up a name. But when he looked at her face, Jared came to mind. Oh! She's the one Jared imprinted on, right? Her name was... Karen? No. It started with a K, I know it... Sam had always been bad with names. Finally, it came to him through a loud thought coming from Jared. Kim. That's her name.
Sam's baritone voice rollwed out into the air. "Hey Kim. I see you're a bit early. Looking for something?" He smiled as he propped the log up onto the bonfire pile. It would be about thirty minutes until the wedding. He had his only tuxedo hung up in the one of the five port-o-potties that they had rented for the wedding. Sam was ready to dress up. The tuxedo was coupled with some cologne and some hair gel. He wanted to look perfect. This whole thing had to be perfect.
But really, where were his guests? Most of lapush and some of forks were coming. Surely some would be early...
